Duncan Poovey vs Malcolm Gwenn

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at GAT Gym, Gaineau,  taking place on 22/09/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Duncan Poovey (11 - 1) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Malcolm Gwenn(3 - 7 - 2) from San Antonio, USA.  Poovey weighed in at 108 pounds, while Gwenn weighed in at 107 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bruce Hathorne, and the three ringside judges are Laurent Marceau, Jasper Kopa and Johnny Smith.  

Round 1: 

Poovey hits home with a left hook.  
Poovey walks Gwenn into the corner.  Poovey pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Gwenn's body.
