Seymour Pique vs Davie Ayensu

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Prison Canteen, Accra,  taking place on 22/08/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Seymour Pique (2 - 0) who hails from Daloa, Ivory Coast and Davie Ayensu(1 - 3 - 1) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Pique and Ayensu weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vashon Asamoah, and the three ringside judges are Mark Berko, Sammy Bamfokwakye and Nabulung Berko.  

Round 1: 

Pique advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Pique ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Pique pushes his forearm into Ayensu's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Pique quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
