Angel Mercedes vs Paco Zepeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Majola Promotions promoted show at Córdoba Batres, Córdoba,  taking place on 24/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Publica, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Angel Mercedes (16 - 3(1) - 2) who hails from Córdoba, Argentina and Paco Zepeda(14 - 6(2) - 2) from Córdoba, Argentina.  Mercedes weighed in at 244 pounds and 11 ounces, while Zepeda weighed in at 243 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lorenzo Villagrana, and the three ringside judges are Quico Espina, Montana Becerra and Joaquin Grande.
