Boxing Daily Report from the GGG Imperat promoted show at Georgiy Abishew Gym, Almaty,  taking place on 24/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kazakhstan-Almaty Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alik Yaleckenov (6 - 7 - 2) who hails from Almaty, Kazakhstan and Waqas Narymbaew(9 - 7(1)) from Almaty, Kazakhstan.  Both Yaleckenov and Narymbaew weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Goga Sacieff, and the three ringside judges are Konstantin Usenow, Musa Kadyrgaliew and Sergei Baighanow.
