Yobachi Mugane vs Jayvyn Kiplitany

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Uhuru Basketball Court, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Nairobi Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yobachi Mugane (7 - 0) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Jayvyn Kiplitany(10 - 4 - 4) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Mugane weighed in at 212 pounds and 5 ounces, while Kiplitany weighed in at 239 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Matt Kanyoro, and the three ringside judges are Billy Tumbo, Duncan Wakihuri and Chris Birir.
