Lewis Biggar vs Peter Hetaraka

Boxing Daily Report from the Simasiku Promotions promoted show at Simasiku Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 27/07/2025:

Clearly Simasiku Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lewis Biggar (8 - 5 - 5) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Peter Hetaraka(14 - 4) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Biggar and Hetaraka weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Billy Nesmith, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Martie, Kieran Beynon and Blake Brown.  

Round 1: 

Hetaraka advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Hetaraka clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Biggar pushes his forearm into Hetaraka's face.  The ref breaks Hetaraka's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
