Lars Blomberg vs Merral Ratibor

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Bob Note Promotions promoted show at Ten Gym, Copenhagen,  taking place on 05/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Lars Blomberg (1 - 0) who hails from Copenhagen, Denmark and Merral Ratibor(1 - 4 - 2) from Vienna, Austria.  Both Blomberg and Ratibor weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Wray Hustedt, and the three ringside judges are Rad Ibsen, Von Garbers and Olan Holsen.  

Round 1: 

Blomberg steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Blomberg drives a left uppercut into Ratibor's body.  
Ratibor feints a right hook, but Blomberg is not fooled and is on target with a cross.  
Ratibor gets on the inside and forces Blomberg to back into the corner.  Blomberg lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Blomberg connects with a cross.  
Ratibor feints a right hook, and then digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Blomberg quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Blomberg lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Blomberg manages to force Ratibor into a corner.  Ratibor wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Blomberg dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Blomberg gets on the inside.  Blomberg quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Blomberg voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Ratibor tries to tag Blomberg on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Ratibor drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Ratibor closes the distance.  Blomberg lands a left uppercut.  
Blomberg lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Blomberg drives a right hook into Ratibor's body.  
Blomberg drives a cross into Ratibor's body.  
Blomberg steps inside and digs in a right hook to Ratibor's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ratibor's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
