Matthew Sean vs Richard Livingston

Boxing Daily Report from the All Talk Promotions promoted show at All Gym, Dublin,  taking place on 09/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Matthew Sean (2 - 0) who hails from Dundalk, Ireland and Richard Livingston(1 - 2 - 1) from Portsmouth, UK.  Both Sean and Livingston weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Steven Stewart, and the three ringside judges are Liam Ryan, Lewis Carroll and Brandon Madigan.  

Round 1: 

Livingston advances into close range.  Sean lands a left hook.  
Sean advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Sean lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Sean connects with a right hook.  Sean clinches his opponent.  Livingston tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sean behind the head. The ref breaks Sean's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sean advances into close range and drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Sean lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sean manouvers Livingston into the blue corner.  Sean throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Sean ties up his opponent.  Sean is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sean lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Livingston advances into close range and walks Sean down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sean lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Sean lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Sean holds on to his opponent.  Sean is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Sean pushes his forearm into Livingston's face.  The ref breaks Sean's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sean walks Livingston down, trapping him in the corner.  Sean lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Sean is on target with a sharp left hook.  As Livingston tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sean dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sean pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Sean lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sean dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Livingston's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Livingston's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
