Carlos Dorta vs Juan Souva

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Rio de Janeiro promoted show at Rio de Janeiro Ferro, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 25/08/2025:

Clearly AI Brazil-Rio de Janeiro have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Rio de Janeiro Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Dorta (15 - 8 - 2) who hails from Duque de Cazias, Brazil and Juan Souva(9 - 9 - 2) from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Dorta weighed in at 235 pounds and 2 ounces, while Souva weighed in at 252 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Juan Ramo, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Freitas, Xaverius Giraldo and Jose Vila.
