Vicente Amescua vs Angel Melchior

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Chile-Santiago promoted show at La Florida Pomar, La Florida,  taking place on 25/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Chile-Santiago Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UCV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Amescua (7 - 2) who hails from La Florida, Chile and Angel Melchior(7 - 9 - 3) from Maipu, Chile.  Amescua weighed in at 174 pounds and 11 ounces, while Melchior weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hilario Britto, and the three ringside judges are Ora Silvera, Fresco Collazo and Dario Salguero.
