Asif Shaer vs Paul Iwelumo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Lagos State promoted show at Lagos Orelesi, Lagos,  taking place on 24/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Lagos State Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Asif Shaer (10 - 3) who hails from Lagos, Nigeria and Paul Iwelumo(8 - 9 - 2) from Lagos, Nigeria.  Shaer weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces, while Iwelumo weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bright Dosumu, and the three ringside judges are Khalid Hafeez, Nwankwo George and Yakubu Aga.  

Round 1:
