Chris Nivens vs Jakub Franczyk

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at UT Arlington College Park Center, Arlington,  taking place on 20/08/2025:

Clearly Rattlesnake Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Chris Nivens (15(1) - 0) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Jakub Franczyk(9(1) - 4(1)) from Poznan, Poland.  Both Nivens and Franczyk weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bryan Priddy, and the three ringside judges are Elliot Morgans, Spencer Aurelio and Faisal Rasul.  

Round 1: 

Nivens is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
