Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at San Jose Orrantia, San Jose,  taking place on 26/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Costa Rica Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Repretel Channel 11, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Iago Villescas (12 - 1 - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Cuba Resto(12 - 1 - 1) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Villescas weighed in at 160 pounds, while Resto weighed in at 159 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Krzysztof Boguslawski, and the three ringside judges are Esteban Macario, Neron Munoz and Diego Giraldo.
