Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Johor promoted show at Johor Bahru Shaker, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 26/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Johor Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waqar Sawaya (12 - 1 - 4) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Tariq Basher(10 - 7 - 4) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Both Sawaya and Basher weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Hammad, and the three ringside judges are Azam Hamdan, Shayan Hossain and Saad Hassan.
