Carlos Covarrubias vs Senon Muro

Boxing Daily Report from the Callybox promoted show at Mexicali Najarro, Mexicali,  taking place on 26/08/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Baja California Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Covarrubias (10 - 0) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Senon Muro(13 - 1) from Ensenada, Mexico.  Covarrubias weighed in at 241 pounds and 11 ounces, while Muro weighed in at 237 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jeraldo Toribio, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Leano, Fausto Cayetano and Baltasar Barrio.
