Rodrigo Ortez vs Vicente Villafuerte

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngwenya Promotions promoted show at Saltillo Prados, Saltillo,  taking place on 26/08/2025:

Clearly Ngwenya Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Coahuila Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Ortez (9 - 5 - 3) who hails from Saltillo, Mexico and Vicente Villafuerte(6 - 0) from Saltillo, Mexico.  Both Ortez and Villafuerte weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montel Cassillas, and the three ringside judges are Vegas Lechuga, Porfio Danon and Xaverius Montera.
