Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Jalisco promoted show at Polideportivo Rio de Janeiro, Guadalajara,  taking place on 26/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Jalisco Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Senon Villena (9 - 8 - 1) who hails from Zapopan, Mexico and Rodrigo Lamora(20(5) - 0) from Guadalajara, Mexico.  Villena weighed in at 245 pounds And 7 ounces, while Lamora weighed in at 245 pounds And 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Angel Chavera, and the three ringside judges are Ovidio Ariza, Rodrigo Machuca and Zacarias Olguin.
