Brad McQueen vs Dennis Mears

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at International Convention Centre Hall 4, Birmingham,  taking place on 14/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the British-Central England Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are The Original Brad McQueen (16(4) - 0) who hails from Manchester, UK and Dennis Mears(7 - 10 - 2) from Stoke, UK.  Both McQueen and Mears weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dale Garrett, and the three ringside judges are Paul Elliot, Floyd Sayer and Ewan Sprout.  

Round 1: 

McQueen steps to the outside.  McQueen feints a cross, and then lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Mears advances into close range.  McQueen hits home with a stinging left uppercut.
