Tariq Taheri vs Aaron Ochefu

Boxing Daily Report from the Kasanbata Promotions promoted show at Imran Ghaffari Gym, Kaduna,  taking place on 27/08/2025:

Clearly Kasanbata Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kaduna State Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tariq Taheri (13 - 3 - 1) who hails from Kaduna, Nigeria and Aaron Ochefu(7 - 8) from Zaria, Nigeria.  Taheri weighed in at 122 pounds, while Ochefu weighed in at 121 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Saad Baksh, and the three ringside judges are Shayan Sasooli, Ifeanyi Chukwudi and Dylan Duba.
