Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Kano Nwoke, Kano,  taking place on 27/08/2025:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Kano State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elderson Ajasoro (7 - 9 - 3) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Godfrey Sunday(4 - 4 - 2) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Ajasoro and Sunday weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Adebola, and the three ringside judges are Theophilus Adeniran, Ollie Mbachu and Hope Ukuh.
