Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kwara State promoted show at Ilorin Aguda, Ilorin,  taking place on 27/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Kwara State Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lordson Obekpa (9 - 0 - 1) who hails from Ilorin, Nigeria and Nwankwo Sosan(3 - 12 - 1) from Ilorin, Nigeria.  Obekpa weighed in at 241 pounds and 4 ounces, while Sosan weighed in at 231 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Majid Farooq, and the three ringside judges are Ikechukwu Chukwuemeka, Akeem Nworah and Kenzie Acquah.
