Kir Platon vs Afon Mayorov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Rostov Oblast promoted show at Afon Angeloff Gym, Rostov-on-Don,  taking place on 30/07/2025:

Clearly AI Russia-Rostov Oblast have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Rostov Oblast Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kir Platon (14 - 6 - 2) who hails from Shakhty, Russia and Afon Mayorov(4 - 13 - 1) from Rostov-on-Don, Russia.  Both Platon and Mayorov weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kir Karelin, and the three ringside judges are Fedya Torbinski, Dmitriy Bolotin and Afon Khoroshilov.
