Santiago Godines vs Miguel Picon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Peru-Lima promoted show at Lima Encinas, Lima,  taking place on 29/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Peru Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Godines (9 - 1 - 1) who hails from Lima, Peru and Miguel Picon(6 - 3) from Lima, Peru.  Godines weighed in at 147 pounds, while Picon weighed in at 146 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Guillermo Rodriguez, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Arredondo, Vicente Toribio and Eloy Sanz.
