Kai Golaszewski vs Leighton Malloch

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Kieran Smolak Gym, Joliet,  taking place on 02/08/2025:

Clearly AI USA-Illinois have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kai Golaszewski (1 - 8(1) - 2) who hails from Chicago, USA and Leighton Malloch(3 - 5 - 2) from Chicago, USA.  Golaszewski weighed in at 174 pounds And 3 ounces, while Malloch weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cody Cockburn, and the three ringside judges are Dave Maddox, Barry Anderson and Michael Denoon.
