Joaquin Nicodemus vs Marjun Battad

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Cebu City Lagda, Cebu City,  taking place on 02/09/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Nicodemus (11(2) - 0) who hails from Taytay, Philippines and Marjun Battad(12 - 8 - 4) from San Pablo, Philippines.  Both Nicodemus and Battad weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fanuco Cabili, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Baliad, Mark Labuanan and Miguel Gannod.
