Rich Crossen vs Mel Wheeling

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Empire City Casino, Yonkers,  taking place on 03/10/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the North American Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rich Crossen (15(5) - 0) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Mel Wheeling(12(2) - 2 - 1) from Spanish Town, Jamaica.  Crossen weighed in at 140 pounds, while Wheeling weighed in at 139 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mike Robb, and the three ringside judges are Nico Rossettini, Darryl Shand and James Daley.  

Round 1: 

Crossen feints a right hook, and then drives a sharp cross into Wheeling's body.
