Anton Banasik vs Ruud de Bakker

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Garliava Arena, Vilnius,  taking place on 04/10/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Anton Banasik (16(14) - 0) who hails from Bratsk, Russia and Ruud de Bakker(12 - 4 - 2) from Ghent, Belgium.  Both Banasik and de Bakker weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Walenty Kleczka, and the three ringside judges are Szczeosny Swiderski, Jeronim Kocon and Wojtek Kedzierski.  

Round 1: 

Banasik lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
de Bakker pivots from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.

You can sense the frustration from de Bakker now.   He steps inside, but then strikes Banasik with a blatant low blow!  The ref signals for the action to continue.  He either hasnt noticed the blatant foul or doesnt care! 
Banasik hits home with a sharp jab.  
Banasik steps inside and digs in a firm left hook to de Bakker's body.  
de Bakker tries to step out of his opponents range.  Banasik is on target with a firm overhand right.  
de Bakker throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Banasik digs in a left hook to de Bakker's liver.  
Banasik advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Banasik gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
de Bakker steps away from his opponent.  Banasik lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Banasik walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Banasik digs in a stinging right hook to de Bakker's ribcage.

Banasik leans on his opponent using all his weight. Banasik uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits de Bakker behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Banasik forces de Bakker to back into the corner.  Banasik lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  de Bakker recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Banasik is on target with a solid right hook.  
Banasik lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Banasik lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  de Bakker recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Banasik lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  de Bakker wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Banasik dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Banasik is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Banasik lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DE BAKKER IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Banasik!
