Taro Murata vs Kaede Ishimoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 20/09/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Tokyo Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Taro Murata (12 - 1 - 1) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Kaede Ishimoto(6 - 6 - 3) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Murata and Ishimoto weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isamu Okimoto, and the three ringside judges are Hikaru Nakamura, Hikaru Onaga and Daichi Noda.  

Round 1: 

Murata switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.
