Juan Barreto vs Santiago Amparan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Zulia promoted show at Maracaibo Mustafa, Maracaibo,  taking place on 02/09/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Zulia Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Barreto (11 - 2) who hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela and Santiago Amparan(14 - 3) from Cabimas, Venezuela.  Barreto weighed in at 118 pounds, while Amparan weighed in at 117 pounds and 9 ounces.
