Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Nairobi Iria, Nairobi,  taking place on 03/09/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Matui (8 - 5 - 4) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Jasper Lekimeju(11 - 6 - 3) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Matui and Lekimeju weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Duncan Wakihuri, and the three ringside judges are Leon Cassam, Sam Waiyaki and Luister Mutahi.
