Lewis Gilkeson vs Steven Magapetyan

Boxing Daily Report from the TooOldToParty promoted show at TooOldToParty Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 14/08/2025:

Clearly TooOldToParty have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Lewis Silk Gilkeson (0 - 0) who hails from Townsville, Australia and Steven Magapetyan(4 - 1 - 2) from Adelaide, Australia.  Gilkeson weighed in at 239 pounds and 13 ounces, while Magapetyan weighed in at 238 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Elias, and the three ringside judges are Sammy Lorimer, Alastair MacIntyre and Dom Clapperton.  

Round 1:

Gilkeson tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Magapetyan behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Gilkeson about fouling.

Magapetyan walks Gilkeson into the red corner.  Gilkeson hits home with a cross.  
Magapetyan is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Magapetyan's ribs.
