Montego Natividad vs Alejandro Merino

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uruguay-Montevideo promoted show at Montevideo Resendiz, Montevideo,  taking place on 02/09/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uruguay Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montego Natividad (12 - 6 - 1) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Alejandro Merino(6 - 8 - 4) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Natividad weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces, while Merino weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Gregorio, and the three ringside judges are Ricardo Puma, Rodrigo Bacallao and Montego Civil.
