Brin Lawther vs Cody Crumb

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Shreyas Gym, Boston,  taking place on 17/08/2025:

Clearly TFI have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Brin Lawther (1 - 0) who hails from Baton Rouge, USA and Cody Crumb(1 - 4) from Bakersfield, USA.  Both Lawther and Crumb weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver McCleese, and the three ringside judges are Sam Evans, Kyle Ormiston and Bilal Elbaz.  

Round 1: 

Lawther advances into close range.  Lawther quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Crumb throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Crumb's ribs.

Lawther tries to land a right hook, but Crumb dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lawther lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Lawther quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lawther advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Lawther closes the distance and walks Crumb into a corner.  Lawther sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Crumb pivots from in front of his opponent.  Lawther attempts to land a jab, but Crumb slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Crumb tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Crumb hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Crumb's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
