Satoshi Soga vs Takeshi Miyamoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Ariake Urban Sports Park, Tokyo,  taking place on 19/09/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Japan-Tokyo Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Satoshi Soga (10(2) - 1) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Takeshi Miyamoto(12 - 4 - 3) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Soga and Miyamoto weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isamu Nonaka, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Mihara, Yasushi Shishido and Eiji Mizuno.  

Round 1: 

Soga is looking to close the distance.  Soga pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Soga drives a left hook into Miyamoto's body.  
Soga quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Soga cuts off the ring, trapping Miyamoto in a neutral corner.  Soga connects with a cross.  
Soga lands a jab to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Soga connects with a cross.  Soga tries to land a cross, but Miyamoto blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Miyamoto attempts to land a cross, but Soga dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Soga hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Soga is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to Miyamoto's liver.  
Soga pivots from in front of his opponent.  Soga attempts to land a jab, but Miyamoto blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Soga lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Soga gets on the inside.  Soga pivots to the left of his opponent.  Soga lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Soga clinches his opponent.  Soga hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Soga drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  Soga attempts to land a cross, but Miyamoto slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Soga advances into close range.  Soga pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Soga pivots to the right of his opponent.  Miyamoto lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Soga closes the distance.  Soga sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Soga lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Soga holds on to his opponent.  Soga pushes his forearm into Miyamoto's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Miyamoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Soga pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Soga gets on the inside.  Soga pivots from in front of his opponent.  Soga drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  Soga clinches his opponent.  Soga uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Miyamoto's kidney. 
Soga sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Miyamoto switches the action to the outside.  Soga stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Miyamoto attempts to land a cross, but Soga slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Soga gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Soga stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Miyamoto tries to land a cross, but Soga sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Soga pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a firm cross.  
Soga advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Soga drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Soga feints a left hook, and then lands a cross to his opponents body.  
Soga lands a cross.  
Soga gets on the inside and drives a right hook into Miyamoto's ribs.  
Soga lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Soga switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Soga tries to land a jab, but Miyamoto parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Soga's body.  
Soga is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Soga quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Soga gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Miyamoto is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Soga sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Miyamoto attempts to land a cross, but Soga parries the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Soga steps inside.  Soga voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Miyamoto is whaling away with hooks, but Soga keeps his defence tight.  
Soga switches the action to the outside.  Miyamoto feints a jab, but Soga ignores the feint and lands with a left uppercut.  
Soga lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Miyamoto is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Miyamoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Miyamoto attempts to land a cross, but Soga slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Miyamoto switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Soga closes the distance and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents liver.  MIYAMOTO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Soga senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Soga lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Soga lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS MIYAMOTO TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Miyamoto steps away from his opponent.  Soga drives a telling right uppercut into Miyamoto's ribcage.  MIYAMOTO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Miyamoto now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Miyamoto's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Soga closes the distance.  Miyamoto pivots to the side of his opponent.  Miyamoto throws a right hook, but Soga clinches his opponent.  Soga is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Soga pushes his forearm into Miyamoto's face.  The ref breaks Soga's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Soga lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Miyamoto is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Soga is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Soga digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Soga connects with a potent cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MIYAMOTO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Some sustained pressure from Soga could be enough to finish Miyamoto!  Soga lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS MIYAMOTO DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Soga steps inside.  Soga lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS MIYAMOTO TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Miyamoto is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Soga!
