Kei Kusumoto vs Hikaru Sugimoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Royal Hotel Hiroshima, Hiroshima,  taking place on 30/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Kei Kusumoto (2 - 0) who hails from Chofu, Japan and Hikaru Sugimoto(6 - 3 - 2) from Nishinomiya, Japan.  Kusumoto weighed in at 122 pounds, while Sugimoto weighed in at 121 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Iwao Sando, and the three ringside judges are Keiichi Nakata, Goro Tengan and Jun Hironaka.
