Sam Kelso vs Beltran Zermeno

Boxing Daily Report from the Arrow Fighting Group promoted show at Crowne Plaza DIA, Denver,  taking place on 20/09/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Kelso (9 - 2 - 2) who hails from Arvada, USA and Beltran Zermeno(6 - 5 - 3) from Phoenix, USA.  Kelso weighed in at 237 pounds, while Zermeno weighed in at 259 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dave Blackard, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Wardrop, Gus Nickson and Fraser Pringle.

Zermeno lands a cross.  Zermeno throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook to Zermeno's ribs.

As Kelso tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Zermeno.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Kelso advances into close range.  Zermeno pivots to the left of his opponent.  Kelso hits home with a left hook.
