Michael Dagg vs Jake Moris

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 30/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Michael Dagg (2 - 0) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Jake Moris(10 - 12 - 2) from Gold Coast, Australia.  Both Dagg and Moris weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Billy Pryce, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Deasmhumhain, James Westwood and Corey Pait.  

Round 1: 

Moris throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
