Hikaru Hamada vs Hideki Maeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 28/08/2025:

Clearly Gold Coast Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Hikaru Hamada (4 - 0) who hails from Saitama, Japan and Hideki Maeda(6 - 3 - 1) from Osaka, Japan.  Hamada weighed in at 118 pounds, while Maeda weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kazuhiko Nakano, and the three ringside judges are Hiroki Amaya, Yuji Tsutsumi and Hisoka Yamamoto.  

Round 1:
