Rehman Djoghlaf vs Waqar Abbadi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Algeria-Annaba promoted show at Adnan Malek Gym, Annaba,  taking place on 14/08/2025:

Clearly AI Algeria-Annaba have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Algeria-Annaba Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rehman Djoghlaf (6 - 7) who hails from Annaba, Algeria and Waqar Abbadi(5 - 1) from Annaba, Algeria.  Djoghlaf weighed in at 200 pounds, while Abbadi weighed in at 198 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Zafa Harrat, and the three ringside judges are Danyaal Fadela, Tariq Salem and Obaid Zouani.

Djoghlaf switches the action to the outside.  Djoghlaf quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abbadi tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Abbadi drives a stinging jab into his opponents face.  
Abbadi lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Djoghlaf closes the distance.  Abbadi lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Djoghlaf closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Abbadi steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Abbadi finds the target with a jab.  
Djoghlaf gets on the inside.  Abbadi pivots to the right of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Abbadi has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Djoghlaf's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Djoghlaf's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.
