Merrill Olin vs Santiago Rosete

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Manchester Arena, Manchester,  taking place on 15/11/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Merrill Olin (26(16) - 1(1)) who hails from Saint-Denis, France and Santiago Rosete(13 - 7(2)) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Olin and Rosete weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Owen Wallace, and the three ringside judges are John Fate, Deri Hare and John Magee.  

Round 1: 

Olin lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.

Olin switches the action to the outside and connects with a nasty cross.  ROSETE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Rosete recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Rosete advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Olin steps to the outside and hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Olin lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Rosete steps inside.  Rosete sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Olin digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  As Rosete tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Olin dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Olin.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Rosete steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Olin slips the shot and counters with a hurtful left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE ROSETE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Rosete quickly recovers.
