Louis Obanda vs Alec Matonka

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Murungaru, Nairobi,  taking place on 13/09/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Louis Obanda (13 - 5 - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Alec Matonka(16 - 3) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Obanda and Matonka weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Mwirichia, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Andersson, Billy Tumbo and Lisimba Kimeli.
