Ramirez Buenaventura vs Dimos Franco

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngcobo Promotions promoted show at Nemesio Villarroel Gym, Havana,  taking place on 16/08/2025:

Clearly Ngcobo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ramirez Buenaventura (4 - 10 - 4) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Dimos Franco(3 - 5) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Buenaventura and Franco weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cortez Bastidas, and the three ringside judges are Ponce Barro, Fidel Serrano and Berto Marcelino.  

Round 1: 

Buenaventura steps to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Franco is on target with a right hook to Buenaventura's body.
