Jerrold Burgo vs Tajo Abeyta

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngcobo Promotions promoted show at Nemesio Villarroel Gym, Havana,  taking place on 16/08/2025:

Clearly Ngcobo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jerrold Burgo (11 - 9) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Tajo Abeyta(9 - 9) from Havana, Cuba.  Burgo weighed in at 129 pounds And 15 ounces, while Abeyta weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ponce Barro, and the three ringside judges are Fidel Serrano, Cortez Bastidas and Berto Marcelino.  

Round 1:
