Tajo Mancera vs Carlos Navarra

Boxing Daily Report from the Ebrahimyan Promotions promoted show at Joaquin Verdugo Gym, Porto Alegre,  taking place on 14/09/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Rio Grande do Sul Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tajo Mancera (6 - 1) who hails from Porto Alegre, Brazil and Carlos Navarra(8 - 7 - 2) from Porto Alegre, Brazil.  Mancera weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces, while Navarra weighed in at 125 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Grego, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Gonsales, Olindo Gabriel and Oleos Gabriel.  

Round 1: 

Mancera closes the distance.  Mancera sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Mancera drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Mancera ties up his opponent.  Mancera is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mancera lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Mancera clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mancera pushes his forearm into Navarra's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mancera.  
Navarra tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mancera lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Mancera advances into close range and forces Navarra to back into the corner.  Mancera lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Navarra sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mancera lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
