Dave Duncan vs Edward Ramage

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at New City Gas, Montreal,  taking place on 25/08/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Dave Duncan (1 - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Edward Ramage(0 - 0 - 2) from Ottawa, Canada.  Both Duncan and Ramage weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Briant Sarraute, and the three ringside judges are Louis Gillespie, Jasper Kopa and Michael Oliver.  

Round 1: 

Duncan pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ramage lands a right hook.  
Duncan lands a hard jab.  
Duncan throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Duncan lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Duncan lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Duncan gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  
Duncan lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Duncan walks Ramage into the blue corner.  Duncan lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Duncan is on target with a right uppercut.  
Duncan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ramage tries to land a cross, but Duncan sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Duncan connects with a cross.  
Duncan steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Duncan tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Duncan forces Ramage to retreat into the corner.  Duncan lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Ramage tries to land a right hook, but Duncan dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Duncan lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Duncan throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Duncan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Duncan lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Duncan lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.

Duncan advances into close range.  Duncan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Duncan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ramage tries to land a right uppercut, but Duncan parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Duncan closes the distance.  Duncan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Duncan throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Duncan gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Duncan lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Duncan hits home with a right uppercut.  Duncan wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Ramage has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Ramage's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
