Sam Kalanzi vs Harry Okurut

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at YMCA Ground, Kampala,  taking place on 13/09/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Eastern African Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Kalanzi (21 - 1 - 1) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Harry Okurut(9 - 2 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Kalanzi weighed in at 122 pounds, while Okurut weighed in at 121 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tavarius Tebazaalwa, and the three ringside judges are Ian Magunda, Salim Kalemazikusoka and Salim Kalemazikusoka.
