Roger Davidge vs Kris Lewison

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Ontario promoted show at London Albert, London,  taking place on 13/09/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Roger Davidge (11 - 7) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Kris Lewison(4 - 4 - 2) from Regina, Canada.  Both Davidge and Lewison weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Myron, and the three ringside judges are Bellamy Batiste, Dylan Morris and Nick Nicolson.  

Round 1: 

Lewison hits home with an overhand right.  
Lewison closes the distance.  Lewison sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Davidge throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Davidge quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Davidge throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Lewison time to recover.  
Davidge is on target with a cross.  Davidge attempts to land a jab, but Lewison blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Lewison steps inside.  Davidge backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Lewison steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Lewison quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Davidge lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Lewison sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lewison goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Davidge's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Lewison advances into close range.  Davidge is on target with a right hook.  
Davidge lands a jab.  
Lewison closes the distance and tries to land a left uppercut, but Davidge blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Davidge connects with a right hook.  As Davidge tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lewison dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Lewison.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Davidge switches the action to the outside.  Lewison is on target with a jab.  
Davidge lands a jab.
