Darryl Rielly vs Sam Morrice

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Geelong Baseball Centre, Geelong,  taking place on 11/10/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Oceania Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Darryl Rielly (13(7) - 1(1)) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Sam Morrice(14(1) - 4) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Rielly weighed in at 231 pounds and 12 ounces, while Morrice weighed in at 219 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Travis, and the three ringside judges are Mark McBride, Aaron Hadjinyan and Jake Denniston.  

Round 1: 

Rielly feints a cross, tricking Morrice into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Rielly springs the trap, countering with  a firm right hook.
