Boxing Daily Report from the ABP Promotions promoted show at Baltimore Telfer, Baltimore,  taking place on 27/08/2025:

Clearly ABP Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Jacob Givan (0 - 0) who hails from Milwaukee, USA and Joel Ruan(0 - 3 - 1) from Dallas, USA.  Both Givan and Ruan weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Mickle, and the three ringside judges are Chris Sandison, Daniel Gebbie and Sid Morrison.  

Round 1: 

Givan retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Ruan accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Givan.  
Ruan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Givan lands a jab to Ruan's body.  
Givan finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Ruan pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ruan attempts to land a jab, but Givan slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Givan advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Ruan hits home with a cross.

Givan steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  Givan attempts to land a left hook, but Ruan parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Ruan digs in a left hook to Givan's body.  
Givan steps inside and is on target with a left hook to Ruan's body.

Givan lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.

Ruan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Givan finds the target with a jab.  
Ruan is looking to keep his distance.  Givan is on target with a jab.
