Veltry Adu vs Mark Adisi

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Azumah Nelson Sports Complex, Accra,  taking place on 19/09/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Greater Accra Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Veltry Adu (6 - 7 - 2) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Mark Adisi(4 - 1 - 1) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Adu and Adisi weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Deion Ayew, and the three ringside judges are Uzoma Ayim, Corey Offei and Kabonero Gyimah.  

Round 1: 

Adisi lands a left uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Adisi feints a right, and then lands a jab.  
Adisi steps inside and manouvers Adu into a corner.  Adisi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Adu throws a left hook, but Adisi ties up his opponent.  Adisi pushes his forearm into Adu's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Adisi about fouling.  
Adisi steps to the outside.  Adisi feints a cross, tricking Adu into launching a cross counter.  Adisi springs the trap, countering with  a left uppercut.  
Adisi steps inside and hits home with a left uppercut.  Adisi attempts to land a right hook, but Adu blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Adu is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Adisi strikes his opponents body with a jab.  Adisi throws an overhand left, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Adisi advances into close range.  Adisi pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Adisi advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
Adisi attempts to land a jab, but Adu slips the shot and counters with a left hook.
